Biography
Welsh broadcasting legend, best known as an in-vision continuity announcer at HTV Wales from 1975 to 1992.
Hosted dozens of shows in both Welsh and English and later turned his hand at producing before retiring from television in the early 2010s.
He still makes the occasional apperance, but usually spends his time nowadays as an author and an ambassador on Welsh art.
Trivia
Inducted into the Gorsedd at the 2014 National Eisteddfod in Llanelli.
Once famously advised viewers at closedown to put their clocks back an hour for the start of Welsh Summertime. It was, of course, an April Fools' joke.
