Synopsis
Fifty contestants (but see Trivia) are locked in a soundproof booth where they hear their fellow contestants sing and if they want them in the band, they hit the button and their booth lights up. Basically it's The Voice UK but the contestants have the power of hitting the button instead of the judges, however they don't get the fun factor of sitting in rotating chairs.

Trivia
The show is a joint production between the UK production company Remarkable Television from Banijay UK and the US's subscription streaming service Netflix.
Of the billed 50 singers, only 44 appeared on screen.
Filmed before Liam Payne's death in October 2024 and broadcast in three tranches on 9, 16, and 23 July 2025; the last of these marked fifteen years since One Direction was founded.
