Biography

Omnipresent Welsh singer-songwriter, presenter, actress and comedienne, with a career in Welsh entertainment spanning over 50 years.

Originally from the village of Ffynnongroyw in Flintshire, Caryl first emerged as part of a trio of Welsh pop and rock groups, including Sidan, Injaroc, and most famously, Bando, before going solo.

She appeared in a slew of comedy shows for S4C and HTV spanning the decades, before graduating to the wireless, where she currently presents the late show on BBC Radio Cymru.

And she's still had time to produce Wawffactor and appear on a few quiz shows as well...
