Synopsis
Twelve Welsh-speaking cooks take part in a short series of culinary challenges in their native country with eight of the dozen advancing onto an overseas contest (France in 2006, Italy in 2007, Spain in 2008). Overseen by top overseas chefs, the cooks are eliminated one-by-one each week until two remain to produce a three-course meal.
The cook with the best meal wins the title of champion...and little else beyond that.
