Chateau DIY: Win the Dream

Would you like to win a castle in the French countryside? That's the prize in this daytime show.

A spin-off from popular daytime show Chateau DIY, pairs of contestants are asked to demonstrate their creativity, commercial flair, and renovation ability in a series of challenges. The best will be in with a chance of winning, and then running, a historic property in north-west France

Channel 4's press release added,

Each episode, Murdo sets design challenges, like converting the garages into an entertainment space, or creating a breakfast room for guests. All the pairs have radically different design styles, so it isn’t just about what they achieve internally, but also whether they will do the building justice, and if they as people will be able to integrate into the village.

For some of the challenges, they have to team up with another pair who often had very different skill sets and design styles. There are also event-style tasks where we get them to pack their bags, take them to a famous chateau from Chateau DIY and set them an entertainment challenge, such as giving guided tours or hosting a garden party. That always caught them off guard!
