Thursday nights amongst the Welsh-speaking community used to mean this ready but decidedly rough-in-nature mix of games and the odd surprise - offered to the viewer by calling Cardiff 597557!
HTV later adapted the format to their own station with Telly Phonin' whilst S4C followed up Cyfle Byw with Sul Y Ffôn.
Trivia
The title translates (roughly) as A Living Opportunity. Originally titled Cyfle (Opportunity) for the first series.
