Lorraine Kelly (Around the Houses)
Talkback for ITV1, 13 September to 3 October 2003 (4 episodes in 1 series)
as Around the Houses: 15 September to 2 October 2003 (13 episodes in 1 series)
A sort of competitive Changing Rooms which played out over three weeks. Five top international interior designers (yes, apparently such people do exist) were each given one of a row of houses in Nottingham and told to do them up, with daily updates on their progress and a vote at the end to decide the winner.
Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla
The show was poorly received ("Blisteringly bad" one of the more printable comments). It was pulled from a plum Saturday night slot at 9.30pm, opposite the Fame Academy results show after only the second episode, and burned off the two remaining episodes in a 5pm teatime slot on 29 September and 3 October where its 30 minute sister show Around the Houses was occupied.
