Biography
Former Lancashire and England cricketer who has made the after-sport move into light entertainment in assured fashion, apparently shedding his birth name along the way. You still see him called Andrew on formal occasions, but he seems content to be known as Freddie.
Latterly perhaps best known (especially to an international audience) as one of the hosts of Top Gear. He was badly injured during filming in 2022, after which the series was "rested" and Flintoff, following a long recovery, has since concentrated on cricket coaching, while also filming the odd TV show.
