Biography
Born in Gloucestershire on 8 June 1985, Joel Dommett started as a stand-up comedian with a sideline in acting - he was trained by the National Youth Theatre, and had a leading part in BBC pop satire Popatron.
He had a recurring role in E4's teen drama Skins and hosted a live show discussing that week's Made in Chelsea episode. That led to him working on Impractical Jokers for BBC3, and then a host of comedy panel games.
Though he's presented ITV2 coverage of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! for some years, his narrow defeat in the 2016 competition propelled Joel to stardom. He continues to tour the comedy circuit.

Married model Hannah Cooper in 2019, in a ceremony on Mykonos in Greece officated by Love Island narrator Iain Stirling.
