Man Versus Beast
Synopsis
The title says it all, really: people versus animals in a series of contests based on things animals are really good at. We know this because the show was a British remake of an American format which did make it to air (albeit briefly). This version didn't - it was filmed, promoted, scheduled and then suddenly pulled a mere two days before it was due to air for the first time. Presumably the whole series still exists in a tin somewhere in Granada's cavernous vaults of doom, but nobody has ever seen it except some people at ITV, all of whom have since disappeared in mysterious circumstances (perhaps).
