Biography
Actor and comedian probably most famous for her sitcom Miranda (2009-15) and her mostly-straight role as Chummy Browne in the international hit Call the Midwife.
Trivia
As well as the pilots noted here, she was also originally announced as the narrator for Don't Scare the Hare, a role that eventually went to Sue Perkins - as did the role of host for Insert Name Here. And after Hart's unbroadcast pilot for The Generation Game, guess who ended up actually fronting an admittedly ill-fated revival? Only Mel and Sue!
