In addition to The Taste and The Great British Bake Off, Lawson has guest judged episodes of America's Top Chef, one of the country's Iron Chef derivatives, Australia's My Kitchen Rules, and both countries' versions of Masterchef.
Spent nine years married to John Diamond, who won two games of Countdown in 1986 and died in 2001.
One of her cooking shows, Cook Eat Repeat, aired slap bang in the middle of Quizzy Monday between Only Connect and University Challenge. Boo. Hiss.
