Synopsis
"Welcome to our manor. It's like a National Trust property — without the trust."
Danny Dyer and Emily Atack host a quiz which the Radio Times described as "fun". Ten contestants live in a "Smart House" containing brain-teasing challenges, with a potential £100,000 up for grabs. A key part of the game takes place in a private "Quiz Pod", meaning contestants can lie about their achievements to other competitors.
At the end of each day, they try to identify the weakest player and evict them. So it's not about how clever you are, it's about how clever your rivals think you are. The duplicity of some is brazen, while others decide honesty is the best policy.
TV Times opined: "Danny and Emily are great hosts and with hints of The Traitors and The Weakest Link, in which perceived bluffers or weakest players get the boot, it's an entertaining format." Radio Times said "The format might be derivative, but it's engaging fun and the hosts are great value."
