Rose Matafeo
Biography
New Zealand-born, now UK-based comedian who started performing stand-up (and winning awards for it) at the age of 15. She had acted in sitcoms in New Zealand, but her career in the UK really took off after she won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show in 2018. She is also known for writing and starring in the BBC Three rom-com Starstruck.
Trivia
She was the answer to the last question ever asked on One Question, "What is a Rose?". Contestants Evelyn and Lawrence won £35,000 by knowing she was "The creator of the 2021 sitcom Starstruck".
