Toyah Willcox

Biography

Toyah was once the wild woman of the early 80s new wave scene, with a string of hit singles and mad hairstyles (the latter more important than the former, natch). Smouldered in the late night slot on ITV in the 1990s presenting The Good Sex Guide. Latterly she was known for being the mumsy reporter for Holiday and its million spin-offs, and even more latterly than that for her social media videos alongside her husband, former King Crimson (and many other projects) guitarist Robert Fripp.

Trivia

She is two degrees of separation away from Kevin Bacon (he was in Search for Tomorrow with Susan Sarandon, and Susan Sarandon was in The 100 Greatest Musicals (2003, TV) with Toyah).
