Trevor McDonald
Biography
Journalist whose long association with ITN has most famously included stints as main anchor of News at Ten and Tonight with Trevor McDonald. He retired from newsreading in 2008 (for the second time, having previously been persuaded back to anchor the 2007 relaunch of News at Ten) but continues to make standalone documentaries for ITV.
Trivia
He was knighted in the 1999 Queen's Birthday Honours, a fact reflected in the title of his short-lived satirical discussion show, News Knight.
