Trystan Ellis-Morris
Biography
A possible contender as the Welsh Stephen Mulhern? Maybe a bit unkind, though he is one of S4C's most ubiquitous on-screen talents.
After starting out in children's programming, Trystan made his name fronting the channel's light entertainment fixtures, including 'Heno', 'Noson Lawen' and key annual events such as the Urdd and National Eisteddfodau.
Probably best known for his partnership with Emma Walford, which takes in the hugely popular 'Priodas Pum Mil' (and its community spin-off, 'Proseict Pum Mil') along with a weekend show for BBC Radio Cymru.
Trivia
Former trombone player with the Deiniolen Brass Band.
His children's TV career came to an abrupt end in 2015 when he became ill with cryptosporidium. Trystan had been working as a continuity presenter for the pre-school 'Cyw' strand at the time.
Apart from Emma, he has formed popular on-screen partnerships with Heledd Cynwal on Urdd Eisteddfod coverage and with Elin Fflur fronting Cân i Gymru.
