Richard Osman
3 March House of Departure
Richard Osman announced during an episode of his podcast The Rest is Entertainment that he will be leaving his role as host of House of Games, which he had presented 817 episodes of since 2017. He has stated that he will film five further episodes in which he hands over to the new host.

Drusilla Beyfus
27 February Drusilla Beyfus
The death has been announced of etiquette journalist Drusilla Beyfus aged 98. In the game show world, she was a team captain on Call My Bluff and a permanent panellist on First Impressions.

Big Break
4 February John Virgo
The death has been announced of John Virgo, aged 79. As well as playing and commentating on snooker, with his memorable catchphrase "Where's the cue ball going?!", Virgo was also the referee on Big Break, establishing a good double act with Jim Davidson and also getting to perform some of his famous trick shots.

The Traitors
26 January Faithful... to the stage
The Traitors, television's biggest show, is coming to the West End stage. A "bold and surprising" show is promised when the play opens in 2027. It's being staged with theatre company Neal Street, they're behind drama hits like Call the Midwife and Hamnet. The writer is John Finnemore from Cabin Pressure.

Prue Leith has confirmed that she's filmed her last episode of The Great British Bake Off. At the age of 84, Prue believes that it's time for her to enjoy a well-earned retirement. We heard a few days later that Nigella Lawson would be the new judge.
