Strictly Come Dancing
19 May It Takes Three to Tango
The new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing are Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and professional dancer Johannes Radebe. The trio replace Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Other candidates for the job included Rylan Clark-Neal, Ball, and Fleur East, all of whom had hosted It Takes Two.

12 May A 21st Century Big Break
The BBC has announced a 20 episode run of Big Break, which will air on BBC Two. Paddy McGuinness replaces Jim Davidson as host with Stephen Hendry replacing the late John Virgo as referee. The original aired between 1991 and 2002 and the revival will be produced by Fremantle production company Naked Television.

16 March Housing MaSheens Game Longer With Michael
The BBC has announced that Michael Sheen will take over House of Games from Richard Osman. His previous game show credits include hosting an episode of Have I Got News for You, announcing an episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, captaining teams throughout There's Something About Movies, and playing Chris Tarrant on the Who Wants to be a Millionaire dramatisation Quiz.

Masterchef Goes Large
13 March Two Many Cooks
Matt Tebbutt has reiterated that he will only be doing one series of Masterchef: The Professionals, having never claimed to be doing anything else but one series. The Sun has claimed that producers have declined to replace Tebbutt in favour of trimming the show's personnel to Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti; we'd approve. Tebbutt's series remains on air and is scheduled to finish on 26 March.

3 March House of Departure
Richard Osman announced during an episode of his podcast The Rest is Entertainment that he will be leaving his role as host of House of Games, which he had presented 817 episodes of since 2017. He has stated that he will film five further episodes in which he hands over to the new host.

27 February Drusilla Beyfus
The death has been announced of etiquette journalist Drusilla Beyfus aged 98. In the game show world, she was a team captain on Call My Bluff and a permanent panellist on First Impressions.
